BAO Massage - November Newsletter

Happy Halloween!

I hope this enchanting day will be kind to you and where treats far outnumber tricks!

As we embrace the transition into Fall and gear up for Winter, I encourage you all to indulge in some self-care, replenish your energy, and brace yourselves for the upcoming final two months of 2023.

With the changing weather, I often find myself seeking warmth and comfort, and there's nothing quite like a soothing bath on those cold, windy days. Personally, I enjoy enhancing my baths with various bath salts. As some of you may already be aware, I craft a range of pre-made bath salts. However, if you prefer a hands-on approach, here's a straightforward recipe for creating your very own bath salts:

To start, I recommend saving citrus peels or fresh herbs that perhaps are nearing the compost bin, which can be easily dehydrated either in a dehydrator or an oven. They make fantastic additions to basic bath salts. If you decide to incorporate peels/herbs into your bath salts, I suggest using a bath tea bag to avoid the hassle of fishing them out of the tub before draining.

Here's what you'll need:

  • 1/2 cup Epsom Salts

  • 3-5 drops of your preferred essential oil (Remember, essential oils are potent plant extracts, so just a few drops go a long way!) OR

  • Dried plants, peels, or fresh herbs!

For a cozy fall experience, consider combinations like Orange & Clove or Pine & Eucalyptus. These not only add a delightful fragrance to your bath but can also help you unwind and relax.

So, whether you're looking to warm up or simply treat yourself, give this bath salt recipe a try. It's a wonderful way to make your bathing experience even more enjoyable.

Rate Increase: Effective Jan 1st, 2024:
It's time for a rate adjustment – with the impact of inflation and the increasing costs across the board, I've made the tough choice to revise my rates. I want to assure you that this decision hasn't been made lightly. I understand that everyone is experiencing the squeeze of rising living costs, and I've always strived to keep my services as affordable as possible.

If, for any reason, you find it challenging to afford massage therapy due to this rate adjustment, please don't hesitate to get in touch. I'm committed to finding solutions that work for you.

I have currently chosen to keep my student and senior rates unchanged, and they will remain at their current levels.
